CAS cards!! (don't faint)

Hi My Crafty Friends

I made these a few weeks ago but have been waiting for the recipients to get them before I blogged them. I guess they should have arrived by now.

As you know, I rarely attempt CAS(clean and simple) cards - I always think there's safety in numbers (of layers, die cuts etc) but I did have to make SOME cards that would hopefully survive the post.

I had fun experimenting with my MFT Scribble dies and this is what I came up with. I die cut the scribbles out of white and coloured card, matted it onto coloured card bases and replaced the scribbles in the holes. Then just a few simple embellishments et voila!

happy Christmas crafting

  1. Beautiful CAS cards Jan, love the different designs from a set of dies..

  2. I LOVE THESE! I especially love the first one with the kind of retro colour scheme - looks like you have embraced your inner minimalist!!!

  3. So pleased you love the first one the most ;)
Trouble is, my inner minimalist is under a great many layers!!

  4. These are so cute Jan, had I seen those dies I would not have had the foggiest idea how to use them, but in your hands, they have morphed into so much more than just scribbles. xxx

  5. Brilliant cards Jan, saw your comment on Kathys blog and so popped over to visit you.
Imagination plus in making this series of cards with single Die set of scribbles!!! Well done, hard to pick a fav. I think I love them all.
BTW I'm your latest encourager I've just joined your blog I hope you might pop over my way and return the compliment.. if you like what you see. 😊
Blessings upon you as we remember Jesus' birthday, and into 2017!!!
