Traditional Christmas Colours

Hi Crafty Friends

I just thought I'd stop by and share a few of the cards I made for some of the club members. I love trying out new colour schemes for Christmas cards, but I always end up coming back to traditional reds, greens and gold. They just seem to say Christmas to me.

Sorry the pics are so dull. I took them quickly in poor light, just before I had to give them out.
This is a great die set which with a bit of tartan matting makes a quick and easy card.

This uses a 6" paper pad (The Gift of Christmas, I think). And it's another outing for my old Magenta rubber stamp. I just select different bits of the image.

This uses the same paper pad and a host of spellbinder dies.

Happy Christmas

Rein-ing it in

Hi Crafty Friends
And welcome from the bad blogger! As you may know, I've been very busy helping out a poorly friend so not much time for blogging. The craft club has continued as ever so here's a bit of a catch up. Reindeer have been a bit of a theme this year: I've already posted two cards in which they feature, and here are three more.

This one also features my fave Santa stamp by Inkadinkadoo (now retired, I believe). I enjoyed using the die to make the flip part of this card - so much easier than partial die cutting which we used to have to do.

I was inspired by a small pic in an advert to make this one. The proportions are different though. This fits a DL envelope. The tag is removable so the message can be written on the back.

I love stepper cards and made this one to fit the fab new Christmas frame. I used the same deer as the card above. it's such a versatile die. Loving craft card at the moment
Happy crafting everyone
