Fairy Castle Card

I've been making a few of these lately. I've adapted a cascade to make a castle. Now I'm working on castles or forts for boys, and maybe Helm's Deep for Tolkien fans, but I think that's a bit ambitious.

  3. Thank you Kathy and Margaret. I'm busy making one for a crafting friend at the mo (between stints of jam making). I did offer to show her how to do it, and she could have her scissors back (the ones she donated to the charity box, and I bought), but no. Still, I'm very honoured to have the commission.

    1. Thank you Tracey, one of the things I love about this style is it looks loads harder than it actually is, so not much patience needed lol

  8. This is the loveliest card that has caught my eye for a while Jan....and as I have a little granddaughter who knows, I think I might just attempt it! I have a little grandson too, so looking forward to seeing the boys version. Thank you for sharing, beautiful! x

    1. Thank you Jennie, glad you like it. A cascade card is quite easy. If you've not made one before, there are loads of You Tube videos. This particular version is a DL (about 8"x4"). I just drew random turrets, cut them out and stuck them in. Good luck with your make. Would love to see it.
