Christmas roundup part 2

Hi Crafty Friends
I've found another two Christmas cards which I didn't get round to blogging in the rather stressful period before Christmas.

I found this gorgeous ribbon in Boyes, and there was enough for all of us, so I decided a simple card would make the ribbon the star of the show. It involved a bit of fiddly lining up, but basically an easy peasy card. It's a very old stamp, sorry I don't have the name. We embossed it and added gems.

Another quick make. We masked off the panel and sponged in colour, making sure we did a background panel to match at the same time. Then it was just a quick bit of stamping and embossing. Another old favourite stamp, by Inkadinkadoo.

I hope to be back soon with what we've been up to since Christmas.
happy crafting

  1. Ooh, both so pretty I couldn't choose a fave. As you say lovely ribbon and design on the first and I love the colours and sentiment of the second ... I have that Inkadinkado image in my own collection and should really use it more often too

    Happy Monday

  2. Both cards simple at first glance but very effective, enjoying seeing Christmas cards as I have yet to start this years, seem to have had lots of normal cards to make and now been commissioned to create a 20 page scrapbook album, christmas is definitely on the back burner so saving these ideas for later. xxx
