It's a Square World

Hello Crafty Friends
Hands up who remembers 'It's a Square World' then!
It was squares a-go-go here at Serendipity Towers (temporary outpost), as I was quite taken with this new die.  It's a dead easy design and uses almost no materials, just one square of card inked and diecut and some contrasting matting layers. It's easy to do too, though in-laying all the coloured pieces is time-consuming. My first effort turned out almost radio-actively bright.

Here's the version I did for the club - prettied up with some of my favourite flower dies. Pastel shades on white totally transform the effect.

And here's another more eye-boggling colour scheme. I'm not sure yet whether it needs anything adding.

We had time to do two cards this week - so more squares, this time with adorable cats. More ombre blending and inlay. The hardest part of both of these cards was not losing the bits 😀.

happy crafting

    1. They're dies, you just have to paper piece them
